VOLUDERM RADIO-FREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING:

The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your comfort/healing, and to help achieve the best possible results from treatment.

Please follow the aftercare advice for Radio-Frequency Microneedling:

• Wash your face thoroughly for a few hours after treatment. Carefully wash your face with tepid water and gentle cleanser to remove dried serums and other debris such as dried blood. This will improve the appearance of the skin and allow for better product absorption. DO NOT SCRUB OR EXFOLIATE THE FACE.
• For the first 1-3 days your skin will feel dry and tight. Some flaking and swelling are normal.
• Cleanse your treated skin with a gentle, nonabrasive cleanser morning and night.
• Apply a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to your treated skin after cleansing and as needed to prevent dryness and irritation.
• Avoid sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day for at least 10 days following treatment. A physical SPF is recommended.
• Do not apply makeup to the skin for 24-48 hours. Avoid alcohol-based toners for 10-14 days.
• Do not pick, scratch, rub, or exfoliate the treated area until fully healed.
• Avoid sweat-inducing activities such as strenuous exercise, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for at least 48 hours.
• It is normal to experience mild redness, swelling, and discomfort after your treatment. This should subside within a few days.
